Secondary Glazing Fittings • OM25 Magnetic Glazing Strip
Magnetic Glazing Tape is used to fix 2-4mm polycarbonate as secondary glazing to an existing window frame. (an ideal solution where you do not want the secondary glazing to protrude too much).
Do NOT use with Glass.
Magnetic Glazing Tape Kit:
12.7mm wide magnetic tape White backed).13mm White steel tape (tapes are both 2mm thick).
Tapes supplied in 5m, 15m, 30m lengths. Double-sided adhesive tape.
Installation:
The steel tape adheres to your window frame. The Magnetic tape adhers to the secondary glazing panel.
To order to calculate the size of glazing panel; add 25mm to the internal dimensions of the window frame.
There must be a flat surface all the way round to ensure a good adherence. The best surface is a gloss paint finish.
Ensure that all window furniture (handles, stays) fit within the recess.
