Secondary Glazing Fittings • Superglaze Framed Edging Strip
Superglaze Glazing Strip is used to fix 2-4mm plate polycarbonate, acrylic or glass as secondary glazing to an existing window frame.
Superglaze Glazing Strip:
1.22m and 2.44m lengths, White or Brown and consists of a clip on uPVC frame that screws onto your window frame with a clip on cover to hide the screws.
Fitting:
20mm of flat mountable surface around your window frame is required to fix the strip.
Ensure that all window furniture e.g. handles, stays, etc. fit within the recess.
When used with 4mm glazing lubrication will be required to insert the panel.
Deduct 20mm off the external dimensions of the window frame/outside edge of where you want the secondary glazing to sit for your glazing panel dimensions.
Superglaze Glazing Strip is guaranteed for 10 years.
Fitting Instructions are supplied with Superglaze Glazing Strip.
Omega supplies standard and Cut-To-Size Plate Polycarbonate and Acrylic panels for use with the Framed Magnetic Glazing Strip.
